Packs Froid Positif
The use of "Positive Cold" packs based on eutectic liquid, with a restitution temperature of +0.3°C, eliminates the need for thermal regulation barriers, which are necessary when packs are based on water only or gelled water. This does not change the restitution temperature of the water, which is -1°C/-2°C in the solid state, 0°C being the crystallization point (phase change from solid to liquid). Their role is to protect heat-sensitive products by absorbing heat over a vertical distance of around 20 cm at an angle of 30°, and around 5 cm horizontally around its periphery.
We have set up a traceability system for our eutectic packs, engraving the production date on the shells and printing the filling date.
All our eutectic packs can be customized by engraving from 10,000 packs upwards.
For best results, we recommend freezing the pack to -18°C. Pack freezing time depends on the 24-hour freezing capacity of your freezer. We recommend spacing your packs to reduce freezing time.
The MEDICOLD +0.3°C restitution cooler pack maintains products between +2 and +8°C without thermal shock, ideal for products with sensitive active ingredients.
